The Rubbing Character Database, one of the products of the East Asian Global Humanities Informatics Research and Education Center, is a database constructed by cutting out characters one by one from stone carvings dating from the Han to Tang dynasties, and is currently being expanded to include data from the Song dynasty onwards.
