I believe this to be what is called a Beizi which is traditional Chinese attire worn by both men and women. It is a long outer coat with loose and long sleeves. I am uncertain as to the material as there are no labels attached to the garment. It is in good condition, bright red in colour with blue edging and embroidered with flowers. The inner lining is pinkish in colour. Size wise I think it would suit all sizes but it appears to be fairly large.
