Georges Braque Retrospective Exhibition / More than 100 works from his earliest

£46.17

Braque was born in Argenteuil, a cozy village on the banks of the Seine near Paris, where Claude Monet once had a studio. From around 1907, he was attracted to Cezanne, who was a serious thinker about the structure of the visual world and the state of human senses, and began to create landscape paintings that captured the sense of space made of light and shadow in a structured manner, as if stacked with building blocks.
