Mrs. Sanae, the wife of Yanosuke Iwasaki, the founder of Seikado, was the eldest daughter of Shojiro Goto and married Yanosuke in 1899. Although his wife studied Western studies at an early age, she had a wide range of hobbies, including being able to sing waka and nagauta, and enjoying watching theater.She also loved reading and was fond of nishiki-e.
